Old Frisian House

Riddle location 9

A captain's house from the whaling era

Even during Christian Peter Hansen's lifetime, this house was popular for its collection of archaeological and geological finds and thus formed the basis of the "Sylt Museum" founded in 1907.

If the house is open to visitors, be sure to take a look around the well-preserved living quarters. This includes a kitchen, a living room, a cellar and of course the "Pesel", which was intended as a room for celebrations.

The furnishings reflect the wealth of the whaling captain.

To the riddle:

A number is posted on the right-hand side of the house wall facing the street (see circle).

Find out which number it is and look for the corresponding playing card. The concept of the cream-colored symbol in the background is the solution word.
