Harhoog

Riddle location 11

Neolithic family tomb

The Harhoog is an impressive example of early family burial sites.

Originally it was southwest of the Keitum church.

In 1954 the Harhoog was relocated to its current location due to the expansion of the airfield. The boulders are individual stones that were "transported" here from Scandinavia by the glaciers during the last ice age.

To the riddle:

A little to the left of the Harhoog is the Tipkenhoog .

A legend is told there in which a giant lost his life in a fight against Danish warriors.

What was the name of this giant?

Harhoog
